Two ways to work together

  • The Buena Vida Psicología practice, with plants, warm light and natural wood

    In person

At my practice in Alpedrete (Madrid): a warm, calm space designed to help you feel at ease from the very first moment.

  • Arancha in a video-call session at her practice, facing her laptop

    Online

By video call, wherever you are: at home, on a work break or while travelling. All you need is a connection and somewhere you feel comfortable.

What is it?

Therapy is a series of conversations in which — through talking, and sometimes other techniques or exercises — you work through your difficulties and become more aware of your fears, doubts, insecurities or blocks.

Sessions help you get to know yourself better and build new habits for facing everyday life differently. It is a process of inner work and personal growth: it asks for your commitment to yourself, and for time and energy to listen to yourself, let go of what no longer serves you and reconnect with what you truly want.

The number of sessions depends on your pace and on how deeply you wish to explore each topic.

Individual therapy

If you are going through a difficult time or want greater wellbeing, we will work together on skills to manage stress, care for your self-esteem, live your relationships in a healthy way, or process painful experiences.

Couples therapy

Helpful when a couple is going through a crisis — or simply wants to know each other better and improve communication and connection. I’ll help you recognise your patterns and change the behaviours that pull you away from your shared goals.

Benefits of online therapy

  • Accessibility

Reaches people who, for whatever reason, can’t attend in person.

  • An easier first step

Makes starting easier with social anxiety, agoraphobia or low mood.

  • No commuting

Save time and money: join from wherever you are.

  • Continuity

Keeps regular contact going even if you travel often.

Is it just as effective?

Online therapy is a great help to many people. As with any therapy, what matters is taking your goals, needs and expectations into account as you begin. If at some point you’d prefer to switch format, we can combine online and in-person sessions.
